Anna Silk
Anna Silk, born January 31st 1974 in Fredericton Brunswick Canada, is a Canadian actress best known for playing Bo in The Showcase show Lost Girl. Silk was a native of Fredericton, New Brunswick in Canada. Ilkay who is producer and director of the drama at St. Thomas University, is Silk's mother. The father of Silk, Peter is an academic. Her father is British and her mother a Turkish-Cypriot-English expat. Anna was a child and watched her mother while at work, and also attending practice sessions for plays. Silk was featured in a variety of commercials as a young child. She was in 1997 when she graduated with an associate's degree from St. Thomas University. Theatre St. Thomas produced two of its first productions: Seven Menus, and The Kitchen. Silk was a resident of Toronto in her quest to act and progress, and then moved she moved to Los Angeles California. She met her new husband, Seth Cooperman, at an Actor's training in Los Angeles in 2007. The couple was engaged in 2009 and were married at the civil ceremony on was held in December. Silk revealed to her followers that she was pregnant in January 2013 during an episode of Showcase Season Three Special. Silk posted on Twitter on June 20th that she is ready to resume work. On June 4, 2013 Showcase and Prodigy Pictures officially announced the beginning of the production for the fourth season. CNN has named Bo's character with Lauren (Zoie Palermo) in Lost Girl one of the most popular TV couples of all time. E! voted it as the most popular TV couple in 2013. Entertainment Television.
